Friday was a really busy day. Mrs Garratt finished off the dragons head and the children made the body by cutting out pieces of gold wallpaper and sweet wrappers. The pieces were then stuck to a long piece of wallpaper to make the body of the dragon. It now all hangs on the classroom wall.
We now just need to finish off the tail, unless the children feel that there is more we should add. I have added all their written questions about dragons around the body. One wonderful question asks
"Do dragons want revenge for what St George did?"
We also worked to put together some questions for Drac, just in case she (or he) came back over the weekend.
In the afternoon we used the internet to find out some facts about dragons. We will look at these more carefully on Monday.
